Membership Information
Purpose
The Alpine Club of Williamsport was formed in 1953 as a means of maintaining the Loyalsock Trail. Along with maintenance hikes, the club also has recreational hikes throughout Central Pennsylvania for prospective members, members, and their guests.
Who
Membership is open to anyone interested in attending club meetings and outings
DUES
The Alpine Club has changed its membership policies effective as of March 18, 2024. Since 1962, we have charged a $2 fee annually. This proved burdensome to Members and the Board. We now will charge a one-time fee for a lifetime membership of $20. All current Alpine Club Member as of the 2023 Calendar year will be grandfathered in for free.

By using a check for payment, you agree to the following terms:
In the event your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, you authorize us to electronically (or by paper draft) re-present the check to your bank account for collection of the amount of the check, plus any applicable fees as permitted by state law.
Requirements
Interested hikers must attend two Alpine Club activities to become a member.
